§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisThere were 744,100 staff employed on 1st July 1976 compared with 707,982 on 1st July 1975. The latter figure does not, however, include the staff of the Manpower Services Commission and its agencies. The staff concerned—20,800—returned to the Civil Service on 1st January 1976.
