§ 29. Mr. Croninasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action he has taken or proposes to take to implement the recommendations of the regional 96W chairmen's inquiry into the working of the DHSS in relation to regional health authorities.
§ Mr. EnnalsIn July I set up a group chaired by the Permanent Secretary of my Department and including the three regional chairmen who conducted the inquiry, to advise on what action should be taken on the proposals made in the inquiry. There will shortly be discussions of the results of the group's work so far with, among others, the chairmen of all the regional health authorities and with staff representatives concerned.
