Non-industrial United Kingdom civil servants 303 Locally engaged 860 Industrial Local engaged 2,810 The civil servants are subject to the normal conditions of service and receive the pay and overseas allowances appropriate to United Kingdom civil servants employed in Germany and comprise:
Executive Director Lower Band 1 Director B 1 Senior Principal 1 Superintending Professionals 5 Principal Professional & Technology Officers 15 Profesional & Technology Officers I 75 Professional & Technology Officers II 126 Professional & Technology Officers III 26 Senior Executive Officers 5 High Executive Officers 15 Executive Officers 23 Clerical Officers 8 Others 2 The locally engaged staff range from tradesmen of all kinds to translators and executive staff. Their conditions of service and pay are laid down in the Collective Tariff Agreement, the parties to which are the German trade unions and the Federal Government.
