§ Mr. Formanasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, further to his answer on 8th November, Official Report, column 76, giving the short-run effects of each Budget and mini-Budget since March 1974, he will now publish the full consequences of each Budget or mini-Budget.
§ Mr. Robert SheldonThe long-run effects of changes in fiscal measures take a number of years to come through. The774W nature of these effects is not known with any degree of certainty. It would, therefore, be very difficult to quantify accurately the "full consequences" of each Budget and mini-Budget since March 1974. As a result, I have nothing further to add to the answer I gave on 8th November.
