Passports are issued to Rhodesian citizens who have no other citizenship and who are ordinarily resident outside Rhodesia. They are also issued to some categories of persons normally resident in Rhodesia who have a claim only to Rhodesian citizenship. These categories, as described in a statement made by the then Attorney-General on 17th June
