§ Mr. Brothertonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) what reports he has received to date from the TUC on the ways in which the Government's training and education grant has been spent;
(2) if she has received an application from the TUC for a further grant for education and training purposes;
(3) what proportion of the Government's grant to the TUC for education 133W and training purposes has been allocated to date.
§ Mr. OakesThe TUC's first claim on the grant offered for training and education in the current financial year is expected early in the new year. My right hon. Friend has received a request for grant for the financial year 1977–78 and is considering it with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Employment.
