§ Dr. GilbertA helicopter-borne antitank guided missile, the SS 11, has been in service in BAOR on the SCOUT helicopter since 1971. An evaluation of the Franco-German HOT and the American TOW missiles as the armament for the SCOUTS's successor, the LYNX, is now under way. It is expected that a decision will be made next year.
