§ Mr. FreesonWe have not cancelled any schemes. In response to Circular 80/76 local authorities in Devon and Cornwall reported that, had no control been imposed, contracts would have been let for 1,047 dwellings to be started between 22nd July and 31st December. Two hundred and ninety-seven of these will be able to go ahead. The remainder will have to be deferred until next year
