§ Mr. JohnIn England and Wales during 1975, 311 persons who were on parole while serving determinate sentences had their licences revoked for breaches of the licence conditions including, in 144 cases, the commission of offences. The 311 revocations represented 7.7 per cent, of the number of persons granted parole in 1975.
