§ Mr. Hugh D. BrownThe EEC Standing Veterinary Committee consists of representatives from each of the nine member States, under the chairmanship of a representative of the Commission. There is no single nominated United Kingdom member of the Standing Committee. The composition of the United Kingdom team varies and could include a representative from Scotland if this were considered appropriate in the light of the matters to be discussed at a particular meeting, but the members speak for the whole of the United Kingdom.
