§ Mr. MasonThe estimated extra cost of military operations in Northern Ireland for the years in question is as follows:
1973–74 £33 million 1974–75 £45 million 1975–76 £60 million The figures do not include the cost of regular Service pay and other items of normal maintenance expenditure which would have had to be met if there had been no emergency.
