§ Mr. Adleyasked the Prime Minister if he has any plans to amend the procedures for compiling the Prime Ministerial resignation honours list; and if he will make a statement on the current position.
§ The Prime MinisterI have at present no plans for amending the traditional procedures, namely, that the resignation list is the prerogative of the outgoing Prime Minister and that his successor submits the list formally to the Queen for her approval.
