§ Mr. Hugh D. BrownRenfrew District Council was allocated £380,000 in 1975–76 for lending to individuals for house purchase and improvement under the Housing (Scotland) Act 1966. 136 individual loans were granted in that year. The average advance represented some 80 per cent. of valuation price.
