§ Mr. VarleyMy hon. Friend announced last month the names of companies in the process plant, turbo-generator and vehicle industries which have agreed to move to operative discussions on planning agreements. The first nationalised industries to enter into planning agreement discussions over the next year will be British Airways, the British Steel Corporation and the National Coal Board. When a planning agreement has been concluded a statement to that effect will be laid before the House.
§ Mr. Tim Rentonasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he has yet concluded any planning agreements with manufacturing companies.
