HL Deb 13 May 1976 vol 370 c1158WA
Lord BRADWELL

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will ascertain from the Greater London Council and London Transport how many objections have been received to the proposed institution of a bus lane in Tottenham Court Road, as in Piccadilly, against the main flow of traffic; and from which organisations these objections have come.

Baroness BIRK

Parliament has laid the relevant powers and duties in this matter on the Greater London Council, whose attention has been drawn to the noble Lord's inquiry and who will provide him with the information he seeks.

House adjourned at four minutes before eight o'clock.
