Mr. Wm. Rossasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will ensure that the methods and points of certification of fat cattle for slaughter premiums and the methods of payment of those premiums remain the same throughout the United Kingdom during the financial year 1976–77.

§ Mr. PeartThe total cost over the past year of remuneration paid to individuals, other than Civil Servants, appointed by me—in some cases jointly with my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as appropriate—to bodies other than committees is about £160,000; in addition, reimbursement of travelling and other expenses is normally made.
