§ Mr. TomlinsonWeekly broadcasting hours were 735 in 1974–75 and 727 in 1975–76. Technical monitoring of BBC External Services' audibility overseas is undertaken voluntarily by Foreign and Commonwealth Office communications staff in addition to their normal duties. No staff is engaged exclusively on this activity.
