§ Mr. Patrick Jenkinasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what consideration she is giving to the production of a "Home Guide to Minor Illnesses".
§ Dr. OwenEducation of the public concerning the prevention and treatment of minor illnesses is one of the responsibilities of the Health Education Council. The Council has recently published a booklet "Treating Yourself—a guide to self-medication which gives advice about prevention and treatment of minor 655W illnesses and when to consult a doctor. The Council is preparing a further publication on this subject and has started studies into the whole subject of self care, including treatment of minor illnesses.
