§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will seek to meet the representatives of Commonwealth countries prior to their meeting at the UNCTAD Conference in Nairobi.
§ Mr. ShoreI have no plans for a specific meeting to discuss UNCTAD IV but in the course of the next few weeks I, together with other Ministers of my Department will be having meetings with representatives of several Commonwealth countries at which there will be an opportunity to discuss the forthcoming session of the Conference. Also, I hope soon to discuss these questions with the Commonwealth Secretary-General.
