§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the Government's difficulties in obtaining persons to fill various positions as chairmen, &c., of State boards at the present salaries, he will ask the TUC to nominate people to fill these positions on condition that they agree to accept the present salary 227W and conditions of such appointments for a period of at least two years.
