§ 12. Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what consideration has been given to the implications following their decision that Her Majesty's Government will withdraw from the European Youth Foundation.
§ Mr. EnnalsMy right hon. Friend the Minister of State told the House on 17th December that Her Majesty's Government were considering ways in which we could continue to participate in the Foundation. We have discussed this with our partners in the Council of Europe and have offered to make a token payment of £20,000 for 1977. If all our partners agree we shall continue to play a full part in the Foundation.
