§ Mr. MarksIn certain places treatment with shellgrip or spraygrip can reduce the number of personal injury accidents on average by about one quarter; the cost of treatment can be offset by the accident saving in the first year. No information is available about the number of local authorities which have used shellgrip or spraygrip on their own roads; about 30 authorities have carried out such treatment on trunk roads as our agents.
