§ Civil Servants
§ Mr Arthur Lewisasked the Minister for the Civil Service whether he will publish in the Official Report details of former civil servants who have retired and been given employment of a full or part-time basis in Government service in addition to their receiving their non-contributory pensions.
§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisA civil service pensioner who is re-employed in the Civil Service may draw only so much pension as represents the difference between the salary of his new post and that from which he retired. In accordance with this arrangement, of the some 24,600 civil service pensioners re-employed in the Civil Service 19,400 have their pensions fully suspended and 2,400 have their pensions partially abated. The remaining 2,800 receive their pensions in full.
