§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if an illegal immigrant, who having been discovered is permitted to remain in the United Kingdom by the Secretary of State for the Home Department, is permitted to receive social security benefit.
§ Mr. OrmeAnyone over the age of 16 and not in full-time work who has the right to remain in Great Britain may qualify for supplementary benefit if he or she satisfies the conditions for entitlement set out in the Supplementary Benefit Act 1966.
