§ Mrs. Jegerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what compensation has been arranged with the Turkish Government for British citizens who suffered injury and loss during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
§ Mr. LuardNo arrangements for the payment of compensation have as yet been concluded, but following the offer by the Turkish Government reported in my reply to the Question by the hon. Member for Cleveland and Whitby (Mr. Brittan) of 19th May, all British claimants will shortly be asked to provide full details of their claims.
