HC Deb 25 June 1976 vol 913 cc464-5W
Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will take steps to encourage the use of Post Office Plan CO7 for telephone extensions among the elderly and disabled, including the provision of extra funds to meet increased charges.

Mr. Alfred Morris

I assume my hon. Friend is referring to Plan 107. The provision of telephones for disabled and elderly people is a matter for local authorities. The Post Office is always prepared to advise on the most suitable systems for particular needs.
