§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales when it is proposed to proceed with necessary, and already approved, improvements to the Ruthin-Mold trunk road in the vicinity of Tafrany-Gelyn, Llanferres, Mold, Clwyd.
§ Mr. Barry JonesOur published proposals to improve the A 494 trunk road at Llanferres village in the vicinity of Tafran-y-Gelyn, are programmed to start in 1980–81, subject to the satisfactory completion of statutory processes and the avaliability of funds.
Proposals to improve the A 494 east of its junction with B5430, south of Llanferrers 472W Village, are also programmed to start in 1980–81. However, the alignment of this improvement has been found to be affected by the Birkenhead Aquaduct water main. The start of work will therefore be subject to the results of an investigation currently being undertaken, to the satisfactory completion of any additional statutory processes which may be necessary, and to the availability of funds.
