§ Miss Margaret JacksonI am informed by Lancashire education authority that in January 1975, the pupil-teacher ratios in maintained primary and secondary schools in its District 14 were 24.1 and 17.6 respectively; the comparable ratios for England and Wales as a whole were 24.2 and 17.2 respectively.
