§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will make a statement on the improvement of the main Hull to York trunk road, stating those improvements which are at present under way and the other improvements programmed for the next five years.
§ Mr. MarksThe second stage of the three-stage Hayton-Shiptonthorpe improvement is almost completed. Subject to the completion of statutory procedures and the availability of funds, it is hoped in the next five years to86W undertake the construction of the Beverley south-western bypass, improvement of the bend at the post office at Kexby, and possibly the final stage of the Hayton-Shiptonthorpe improvement.
