§ Mr. Guy BarnettThe future rôle of Stansted Airport is one of the issues considered in the consultation document "Airport strategy for Great Britain Part 1: The London area" which was published by the Department of Trade in November 1975. Copies of replies to that document have been sent to my right hon. Friend by the Department of Trade as the consultations are being conducted jointly by the two Departments. However, as replies are still being received it would be premature, and perhaps misleading, to publish an analysis of their contents. In addition, the publication of the document has stimulated a small amount of correspondence direct to my right hon. Friend, which will also be taken into account.
