asked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) how much land will become available before 1980 for industrial development in the Cardiff travel-to-work area as a result of the current derelict land clearance programmes;

(2) how much land will become available before 1980 for industrial development in the Shotton travel-to-work area as a result of the current derelict land clearance programme;

(3) how much land will become available before 1980 for industrial development in the Ebbw Vale travel-to-work area as a result of the current derlict land clearance programme.

The large majority of those who work at East Moors live in the city of Cardiff. A total of 212 acres of land is now available for industrial development in that area.
