§ Mr. Ovendenasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what advice he has given to South-East Thames Regional Health Authority about the extent of and time scale for the reallocation of funds between area health authorities.
§ Dr. OwenAll regional health authorities in England have been asked to make progress towards a more equitable distribution of financial resources between area health authorities within the limits of what is locally practicable. I hope to be able to give more detailed guidance when I have received the final report of the Resource Allocation Working Party, which is expected later this summer.
