Between 1946 and 1951, the average annual rate of growth was 355W 2.0 per cent.; between 1952 and 1964, it was 3.1 per cent.; between 1965 and 1970, it was 2.3 per cent.; between 1971 and 1973 it was 3.8 per cent.; and between the year 1974 and the first quarter of 1976, the latest quarter for which figures have been published, gross domestic product at constant prices rose at an annual average rate of 0.2 per cent.
