Mr. Wm. Rossasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what sums have been given from public funds in each of the last three years to Hughes Bakery, Belfast.
§ Mr. Moyle,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 12th July 1976, Vol. 915, c. 44–5], gave the following information:
The Department of Commerce has provided ex statutory assistance amounting to £300,000 to Bernard Hughes Limited during the last three years to help maintain employment at its bakery in west Belfast. The special assistance, which has now come to a close, was paid during the three years as follows:
