§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, in the light of the change of Head of State in Spain, he will renew his representations to the Spanish Government in respect of the execution of Spanish citizens convicted of murder of a policeman.
§ Mr. HattersleyNo. No cases which would call for such representations have arisen since last autumn. The present Spanish Government are aware of the representations made at that time in connection with the trials and sentencing of such persons.
