§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many women underwent abortions in the last year for which figures are available whilst in Holloway Prison.
§ Dr. SummerskillDuring 1975 13 inmates of Holloway prison had abortions. Six were spontaneous miscarriages which occurred in the prison. Seven were induced abortions at a National Health Service hospital.
