§ Mr. MaclennanMy Department is responsible for a grant in aid to the National Council of Social Services, and for the expenditure on local price comparison surveys and consumer advisory centres announced in "The Attack on Inflation" (Cmnd. 6151, paragraph 32). Expenditure in the Yorkshire and Humberside region in 1974–5 and 1975–6 is as follows:
