§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will ask the committee of inquiry which is investigating the Post Office to pay special attention to the effect of higher postal charges on the volume of Christmas mail.
§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieNo. The terms of reference of the committee are wide enough to cover the point, but it is for the committee to decide its own priorities in the light of the evidence it receives.
