Young asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether, in the case of administrative efficiency, she will increase the rates of pensions and national insurance benefits on the same

Following is the information. The values of the increases shown compare with a current rate of family allowances of £1.50 for each child in a family after the first. Except where indicated, the increases are payable in addition to any family allowances and the rate for the first child is £1.50 higher to take account of the fact that a family allowance will not be payable.
