§ Dr. GilbertThe National Bus Company's preliminary estimate is that, because some counties appear to have decided not to meet the full costs of maintaining services, service economies of about 25 million miles—about 31½2 per cent. of NBC's total annual mileage—could occur. The size and incidence of710W such economies depend upon the outcome of the discussions which NBC subsidiary companies are at present having with county councils.
