§ Mr. Clinton DavisUnder the Civil Aviation Act 1949, Section 8(2)(o), the Secretary of State is empowered to regulate charges at licensed aerodromes. This power has not been exercised formally but it is customary for the Secretary of State's approval to be sought for changes in the charges at British Airport Authority's airports and for the charges recommended by the Aerodrome Owners Association for other airports.
