§ Mr. Dudley Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now order an inquiry into the case of William Charles Waite, serving a life sentence for murder following the detailed submission made to him by the hon. Member for Eastleigh (Mr. Price) and the hon. Member for Warwick and Leamington in July 1974 and which has been under consideration ever since.
§ Mr. Alexander W. LyonI wrote to the hon. Member about this case again 527W on 12th February. We can find no grounds on which the setting up of an inquiry would be justified.
