§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department which magistrates' courts on Merseyside still require defendants who are on bail to 521W surrender and be locked in a detention room before their case is called.
§ Mr. Alexander W. LyonI understand that in the South Sefton Magistrates' Court defendants surrendering to bail are sometimes required to wait in the secure area. In the other Merseyside courts they remain at liberty until their case is called.
