asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what discussions he has had with the Scottish TUC about the industrial infrastructure of west and central Scotland.

Scottish Office Ministers have frequent meetings with the STUC, and when my right hon. Friend met it on 10th October last he had a wide-ranging discussion on the general industrial situation in Scotland including the west central area.
