HC Deb 05 February 1976 vol 904 cc685-6W
Mr. Michael Latham

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what changes there have been in the staffing establishment of his Directorate for Overseas Construction Exports since 14th October 1975; and what is the annual cost to public funds of this body, including provision for salaries and administrative overheads.

Mr. Freeson

As explained in my answer on 14th October 1975, the Construction Industry Overseas Directorate is not concerned solely with exports. The number of officials in the Directorate employed wholly or partly with construction exports is still six. The annual cost to public funds of these staff is estimated to be approximately £39,000.
