asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress his Department is making with the archaeological dig on the site of the Scottish Parliament in Perth.

Mr. William Ross

As indicated in my reply to the hon. Member on 21st January—[Vol. 903, c.476.]—the excavation is being managed by a local committee, who should be able to provide information about progress.
