§ Mr. John Fraser,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 26th January 1976; Vol. 904, c. 86–7], gave the following information:
On 8th January 1976, 2,478 people who last worked in the knitwear and hosiery industry—Minimum List Heading 417 of 584W the Standard Industrial Classification—were unemployed in the East Midlands region.
