§ Mr. Fairbairnasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the cost of the standardisation of typists' desks whereby individual sockets are to be fitted to every desk in Old Palace Yard; and for what purpose this is being done.
§ Mr. ArmstrongSockets are to be provided in the desks of Members' secretaries in three rooms in 7 Old Palace Yard. Twenty-two desks will be equipped, at a cost of £40 per desk, with three sockets to which an electric typewriter, table lamp and tape recorder can be connected.
