§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the present state of relations between Her Majesty's Government and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
§ Mr. HattersleyAnglo-Soviet relations as far as Her Majesty's Government are concerned, continue to be conducted in accordance with the documents signed by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister and the Soviet leaders in February last year and, in particular in the spirit of the Joint Statement of 17th February 1975.
