asked the Prime Minister what are his duties as First Lord of the Treasury.

§ The Prime Minister
The First Lord is one of the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury and may act as such in the exercise of any of the functions of the Treasury, although he does not normally do so. He has a statutory responsibility for determining the salary of certain616W Ministers; exercises certain powers of patronage; and has various ex-officio functions.
